Immigration Hardship Evaluations

An Immigration Psychological / Mental Health Evaluation is an assessment that is used to help immigration courts determine whether a person can legally remain in the United States. An immigration evaluation starts by talking with your attorney. If an attorney recommends that you and/or members of your family should have an assessment completed, we would gather any relevant information about your case along with any specific legal issues. 

The immigration evaluation includes questions regarding, but are not limited to, your current immigration status; your personal and family history; your work history; and any medical or psychiatric history that may be relevant.  We will then complete a written report and send it to your attorney.

Immigration Evaluations and reports can be beneficial for any of the following immigration proceedings:

1. Extreme Hardship Cases
2. Spousal Abuse (VAWA)
3. Political Asylum Cases
4. U Visa

We believe that we are the most affordable office anywhere in the state of Illinois for Immigration Evaluations. Our evaluations range in price from $495 to $545.  The evaluation includes the initial session and report writing, as well as the completed report with diagnosis if applicable. The actual client session time it takes to complete most Immigration Hardship evaluations is 2 hours.  Immigration evaluations can be completed in-person or virtually via secure video.
